Most California registered voters can vote by mail, drop their ballot off at a drop box, or vote in-person. In most counties, you can drop your ballot off at a drop box now, and start in-person voting on September 4.

Alameda County

You can vote by mail now, drop off your ballot now, and vote in-person at an Accessible Voting Location starting September 11. Find polling place and ballot drop box information at the county elections website.

Alpine County

You can only vote by mail in this election. You can drop your ballot off in the drop box outside of the Government Center at anytime, or drop it off in-person at the Government Center on September 14. Find the address and more information at the county elections website.

Plumas County

You can only vote by mail in this election. It is recommended that you mail your ballot back by September 7 or drop your ballot off in Room #102 at Plumas Court House (520 Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971). The courthouse is open from 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-3pm on Fridays. You can also drop your ballot off in the lock box at the front of court house near large flag. Sierra County

You can only vote by mail in this election. It is recommended that you mail your ballot back by September 7 or drop your ballot off at the County Elections Office (100 Courthouse Square, Room 11, Downieville, CA 95936). The Elections Office is open Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm beginning August 16, 2021. You can also drop your ballot off at the City of Loyalton Auditorium (605 School Street, Loyalton) from 7:00am to 8:00pm on Election Day, which is September 14.
